Templates
Templates are pure schema seeds for a new website. They copy object types, pages, roles, and related starting structure so you have something to build on. They do not hold bespoke application logic, custom code paths, hidden runtime behavior, or special product forks, after create, the site uses the same schema-driven platform capabilities as any other website. That is what makes recreation perfect: export, import, or re-apply a template and you get the same structured starting point. Prefer a matching template over blank when it saves setup time.
Available templates
Start from a catalog template when one matches your use case, or begin blank and assemble the site yourself. Templates are pure schema seeds, they do not ship bespoke application logic, so recreation stays consistent.
Blank
Use templateId “blank” (or choose blank in the admin UI) to create an empty website with platform defaults and no catalog schema seed.

Once you have picked a template, set up how you will access the platform.
