title: Website settings
description: "Website settings cover identity, favicon and install-as-app, member web push, locales, custom domains, outbound email, external link allowlists, and privacy-aware public web integrations (verification and tracking tags such as GTM)."

Reads need website access. Most writes require website superadmin.

# Identity

The identity endpoint returns the website id, name, and related locale/domain summaries. Rename with PATCH as website superadmin. Favicon and install-as-app are configured in the same admin Identity settings screen, see that docs topic.

Read identity.

```
GET /api/v1/{locale}/{websiteId}/settings
```

```json
{
  "name": "string"
}
```

MCP: get_website_settings, update_website_settings.

Custom favicon set and optional web app manifest so visitors can install the site as an app.

Search-console verification and analytics/ads tags injected on the public site after visitor cookie consent.
